AnadoluJet Flights

AnadoluJet is a Turkish airline that primarily operates domestic flights on behalf of Turkish Airlines. Its head office and main hub is located on the property of Esenboğa International Airport in Ankara. Founded on April 23, 2008, it began as a low-cost branch of Turkish Airlines, a Turkish flag carrier airline, and was originally equipped with a fleet of four Boeing 737-400 aircraft. Today, it has a fleet size of 27 (nine Boeing 737-700 and 18 Boeing 737-800 – all operating for Turkish Airline), flying out to 37 destinations. Its entire fleet is configured in an all-economy class seating layout. The airline has codeshare agreements with Borajet and Sunexpress and it’s a member of the Miles & Smiles frequent-flyer program.

How to Check In

For online check-in, you can book your reservation and select your seat between 72 hours and 355 days prior to the scheduled flight time. You are not allowed to change your seat assignment once your boarding pass has been printed. You may pay for your ticket online and obtain your electronic ticket via online check-in done between maximum 355 days to at least two hours to the first flight. If you are a Miles & Smiles member, you can use it to purchase tickets as well. Print your boarding pass and present it upon check-in at the airport. Checked-in baggage may be completed at the baggage drop-off point at the airport or at the online check-desk. You can also do a ‘self check-in’ at the designated kiosks at the airport if you possess a valid Electronic ticket. Self check-in stations are located at Antalya, Adana, Ankara, İzmir, Bodrum, Dalaman, Trabzon, and Gaziantep stations.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Each passenger is allowed a maximum of 15kg free baggage allowance. For excess baggage, the fee will depend according to your travel (proceed to the nearest THY Sales Office prior to your flight to gain more information). You are allowed to carry one carry-on bag on board, provided that it must not exceed within 23x40x55 cm dimensions and must not weigh more than 8kg. Dangerous items are not allowed to be carried on-board.


AnadoluJet’s fleet is only designed for all-economy class seating. For passengers who wish to be seated on the exit rows/emergency exits, you must fulfil the following requirements: must not be physically or mentally incapacitated, must not be between ages 2-12 and/or elderly, are not prisoners / deportees and INAD passengers, and must not be travelling with an infant, or travelling with service dog or pet.


Passengers are expected to check-in at least one hour prior to the scheduled departure time of domestic flights and two hours prior to the scheduled departure time of international flights. Check-in will be closed 45 minutes before departure time of international flights and 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of domestic flights – although this may vary, depending on the airport. Make sure you check with your airport’s official valid check-in closing times. If you are staying more than 72 hours at a stop-over point, confirm your next flight reservation to avoid automatic cancellation of your reservation.
