Ways to Check In

As well as airport counter and kiosk check-in, Bangkok Airways passengers can check in online or through their mobiles.

For those checking in in person, Bangkok Airways recommends you complete this process at least 90 minutes before a domestic flight or 2 hours before an international flight.

Mobile and web check-in are available 24 hours prior to departure. For international flights, you still need to see a member of staff at the airline's check-in desks to have your ID verified.

For codeshare flights from many Thai airports, you can check in for all legs of your journey.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

All Bangkok Airways passengers get a complimentary luggage allowance. For economy class passengers, this is a maximum of 20kg. For business class passengers, up to 40kg.

Excess fees are in place for those who go over the limit. How much you pay depends on the route, starting from US$8/kg up to US$56/kg.

Passengers are also entitled to 1 piece of cabin baggage, weighing up to 5kg and measuring no more than 50cm x 36cm x 23cm.

For domestic flights with Bangkok Airways, passengers are currently not able to choose a seat. Instead, the airline makes this selection for you.

For international flights, you can choose your seat with no charge associated. This option is available when you book your flight or at any point after through the website.
