Ghana International Airlines Flights

The national airline of the Republic of Ghana is Ghana Airways Limited. The airline's main base of operations is located at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, the capital city. Although the airline was established in 1958, operations ceased on 2004, and having been revived again in 2010 as a result of a shared partnership between government of Ghana and Arik Air of Nigeria. The airline offers both domestic and international destinations.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Hand carry baggage will all be x-rayed. As a precaution, check-in your photographic equipment such as photography films to avoid any damage to your equipment although it is safe to pass through photography equipment through the x-ray machines. To ensure a pleasant flight with ample legroom, make sure that your hand carry baggage can be stowed in the overhead compartment. Check In

Online check-in for Ghana Airways is not available at the moment. As such, it is advisable to head to the airport 2 hours prior to check-in to ensure ample time before the boarding gate closes. You can also enquire with the airport beforehand on when is the latest possible check-in time before departure.

Airline tickets can be booked via third party websites, travel agencies (both local and international). Depending on the medium by which air tickets are booked, booking fees vary. For some websites, you will not be charged any booking fee.
