Wow Air, an airline committed to providing memorable service with a smile, is a relatively new player in the European flight circuit. Founded in 2011, this low-cost airline quickly rose in popularity as it increased its passengers from 112,223 in 2012 to 412,583 in 2013. Wow Air's acquisition of Iceland Express largely contributed to this growth. Its current line-up of destinations is composed of Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.
Travellers flying with Wow Air can also coordinate with Wow Travel if they like. The agency handles hotel room reservations and tour arrangements to make sightseeing convenient. Trips to the Blue Lagoon and Golden Circle make up only some of its services. There is also viewing of the Northern Lights and tours of the glaciers in the area.
![]() How to Check InTravellers have the choice between going to the airport to book their flights or by logging on to Wow Air's website. For the online option, there are six stages to follow. First involves selecting the most suitable flight. Once this has been finalised, travellers will be able to choose a seat and buy extra allowance for luggage and any special equipment. There is also insurance available. In the third step, there will be choices for hotel reservations. Travellers can forego this, if they already have accommodations. They can also choose not to hire a car in the fourth step if there's another preferred mode of transportation. Encoding of personal information makes up the fifth stage. Travellers are advised to ensure all the details are correct to prevent any inconvenience. This stage also covers payment options. For online payments, Wow Air accepts credit cards (excluding American Express) and prepaid cards. Travellers paying with cash or debit card will have to contact customer service to finish their transaction. A fee will be charged for this option. When payment has been received, a confirmation of booking will appear. A copy will be sent on the email address used in the registration process. It is recommended to print out the confirmation page and present it at the check-in counter. | ![]() Baggage Allowance & FeesGuests are allowed one piece of luggage at maximum of 10kg with dimension of 56 x 45 x 25 cm (including wheels and handles).
