Las Vegas McCarran Airport facilities
There are 2 terminals at Las Vegas Airport: Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. After the completion of Terminal 3 in 2016, the old Terminal 2 was demolished.
Terminal 1 is the older facility, which is used only for domestic flights. Passengers check in on the ground floor before moving upstairs for security checks, shopping opportunities and dining options. The gates here are found in 4 separate areas.
Terminal 3 handles all of Las Vegas' international flights, as well as a few domestic journeys. The terminal has 14 gates (although number 13 has been left out for superstitious reasons, meaning some flights leave from gate E15). The first 7 gates are for international flights, the higher numbers for domestic trips.
Some of the gates are accessible from each terminal by complimentary tram systems, once you've passed security.
