Nyala Airport

Nyala Airport is an airport located in capital of South Darfur state in the southwest of Sudan. The airport is elevated 642 metres (2,106 feet) above mean sea level. It can be found on the map at these coordinates: 12°03′13″N 024°57′22″E.

Nyala used to be the capital of Daju Empire, which was established around Jebel Um-Kurdós. Its economy thrives on its local industries, which produce textiles, processed food, and leather goods.
