Masset Airport is an airport that is located 2.8km northeast of Masset, British Columbia, in the country of Canada. In the year 2008 services in the airport began using a 737 jet. There are six airlines that operate at the Masset Airport: Air North (seasonal charter flights to Vancouver), Air Tindi (Terrace), Kelowna Flightcraft (Vancouver), Inland Air (Prince Rupert), Pacific Coastal Airlines (Vancouver), and Spirit Wind Airways (Prince Rupert).
Masset is a village in Haida Gwaii or formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands, located in British Columbia, Canada. The village is located on the northern coast of Graham Island. The island is said to be the largest in the archipelago, and is approximately 50km west of mainland British Columbia. Masset plays the role of being western terminus of the Yellowhead Highway and is served by Masset Airport. History has stated that during the Maritime Fur Trade of the early 19th century, Masset was a key trading site.
