Located in Frankton, Otago, New Zealand, Queenstown Airport serves the resort town of Queenstown. It is currently the fourth busiest airport in New Zealand and has handled 924,248 passengers for the year that ended on June 2011. Queenstown Airport houses various airlines like Air New Zealand, Air New Zealand Link, Glenorchy Air, Jetstar Airways, Qantas, and Virgin Australia, flying to different locations both domestic and international.
Queenstown Airport has a single terminal building with seven tarmac gates, located at the main concourse area. Gate 1 is to the left of the café where domestic arrivals and baggage area are located, while Gates 2 to 6 are located past the Security Screening Point on the left. The gates for the international departures are located beyond the same Security Screening Point.
