Plans for Bilbao Airport's construction took place in 1927. Originally used as a military base, Bilbao Airport today welcomes millions of passengers annually. It is also Vueling airline's 2nd most important operational base. The airport has a three-level passenger terminal, serving both arriving and departing passengers.
Bilbao is the 10th largest city in Spain, home to cultural and historical landmarks like the iconic Guggenheim Museum, Basilica of Begoña and Bilbao's Old Town.
