Rio de Janeiro/Galeão–Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport, commonly referred to as Galeão International Airport, is a joint-use civil and military airport that serves as the main airport of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As the largest and second busiest of all the airports in the country, the airport has two runways that measure between approximately 3,200 and 4,000 metres or 10,400 and 13,100 feet in length and has also served approximately 17.1 million passengers as of 2013. The airport serves as hub for TAM Airlines and Gol Transportes Aéreos.

Galeão International Airport has flights to local destinations within the country of Brazil, including São Paulo. The city is home to the São Paulo Museum of Art, Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, Ibirapuera Auditorium, São Paulo Cathedral, Latin America Memorial, and more. The Latin America Memorial or Memorial da América Latina, is a cultural, political and leisure complex within São Paulo, Brazil. The memorial serves as a monument to the cultural, social, political, and economic integration of the whole Latin America. The museum was inaugurated in the late 1980s and covers an area of approximately 84,500 square metres with permanent collections consisting of various works of art seen indoor and outdoor. The museum also features a library and also promotes exhibitions, conferences, and dance and music performances, among others.
Rio de Janeiro–Galeão International Airport operates short haul flights to Lima, Peru and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lima tourism highlights attractions like Monastery of San Francisco Lima, Cathedral of Lima, Historic Centre of Lima, Museum of the Nation, Torre Tagle palace, and the Sanctuary of Las Nazarenas, in addition to many more. Torre Tagle Palace located within downtown Lima is a Spanish Baroque palace that serves as the present home to the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The palace, commissioned around 1715 to 1730, features a baroque doorway with its main facade made out of stone in the first wing, and plaster for the second wing. The palace is mainly distinguishable through its two finely worked balconies made out of dark wood. Also called ‘miradors’ the balconies show European architecture, with hints of local Peruvian traditions. When within Torre Tagle Palace, features include Sevillian tiles, plasterwork, wooden columns, and more. Unfortunately the inside of the palace is not accessible to the public. However, it is possible to visit by appointment via the office of ‘Imagen Institucional del organismo público’.

Kunsthaus Zürich, an art gallery in Zürich, is home to some of Europe and Switzerland’s most important art collections assembled by the local art association, Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft, over the years. The art gallery’s collection highlights Swiss art, and covers the Middle Ages, with some contemporary art pieces. The art gallery also offers works by well-known artists such as Monet, Edvard Munch, Jacques Lipchitz, along with Swiss artists like Johann Heinrich Füssli, Ferdinand Hodler, and Peter Fischli, to name few.
