Goa International Airport is a joint public and military airport owned by the Goa & Indian Navy, and operated by the Airports Authority of India. More commonly known as Dabolim Airport, it serves the state of Goa in India, located in the city of Dabolim, four kilometres from the nearest city Vasco de Gama, 23 kilometres from the Margao South Goa district headquarters, and 30 kilometres from the state capital Panjim. Goa International Airport is the only airport in Goa, operating as a civil enclave in a military airbase, INS Hansa. The airport resides at an elevation of 56 metres or 184 feet above mean sea level, and has an asphalt-surfaced runway designated 08/26 that is 3,958 metres or 13,345 feet long. It has two terminals, Terminal 1 for domestic flights, and Terminal 2 for international flights.
