Boryspil International Airport is a civil government-operated public airport serving the city of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. The airport is located in Boryspil, about 29 kilometres or 18 miles east of Kiev, residing at an elevation of 130 metres or 427 feet above mean sea level. As Ukraine’s largest international airport, it accounts for 65% of the country’s passenger air traffic, including all the intercontinental flights and most of the international flights. Boryspil International Airport operates with two concrete runways. The other passenger airport that serves Kiev is the smaller Zhulyany Airport.
