What is the best time to visit Bali?

Arriving in Bali

Bali's airport (DPS), found in Denpasar, has 2 terminals: 1 for international flights and 1 for domestic. These are separated by the Festival Plaza, which is full of shops and restaurants. There's also a 24-hour cafe available for those arriving on late flights.

The easiest way to get to your hotel from the airport is with a taxi. Buy a ticket from the official counter in the arrivals hall and take it out to the taxi rank.

Official taxis work on a fixed fee basis. Some selected fares:

  • Kuta: 50,000 rupiah

  • Jimbaran: 75,000 rupiah

  • Legian: 55,000 rupiah

  • Seminyak: 60,000 rupiah

  • Ubud: 195,000 rupiah
