Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve - This is a 2,000-acre slough which is a great place to experience Southwest Florida's flora and fauna. Visitors can go through the 1.2-mile boardwalk trail that is staffed by volunteers who help explain the epiphytes, cypress knees, migrating birds, and nesting alligators that can be found within the area.
