Fayetteville is the third largest city in Arkansas, and the seat of Washington County. Located at the heart of the state, it is home to the renowned University of Arkansas and is known to be the “Track Capital of the World”, due to the success of Arkansas's track and cross country teams. Fayetteville is also the location of the Clinton House, where Bill and Hillary Clinton first began their careers in politics. Originally named George Washington, it now takes its name from the city of Fayetteville in Tennessee, and is led by a mayor along with its pool of councils.

There are three main ways as to how to get around Fayetteville. First is through taxi services. Travellers can hail cabs on the streets and they'd be ready to pick passengers up anytime especially in the city centres. It is extra hard to chance upon one inside the residential areas, so it is best to call local taxi companies and order for one. Second is through limousines. Limousines can be ordered through various companies for use throughout the day, but they are pretty popular when going on bar-hopping or hitting the night scene. Lastly, and probably the cheapest way, is through buses. There are a handful of bus companies transiting around the city, bringing travellers to their destinations.

The airports in the city cater only to domestic flights in the continental US, but international visitors can be accommodated through direct flights to international airports in the US, thereafter flying down to the above-mentioned airport, or travelling by land to the state of Arkansas.
