I wonder if this is the most known island of all Coratian Islands, it might be, because for its Mediterranean climate, its position, its natural and cultural beauties, attracts tourist like sugar the ants. It's not by chance that in the ancient times people gave to Krk the name of "THE GOLDEN ISLAND", if you want to understand that, you have to come and visit. Here you will find one of the longest coast of Croatia, a wild and incredible coast where you can enjoy the sea. Snorkeling is just perfect in this area. There are small villages like Kras, Vrbnik, Punat that you really have too see, there are so many things to discover that I don't even know where to start. I guess you'll find out as I did.
We spent our time on the island of Krk staying in Krk. The town was adorable. Everyone was so friendly and kind to us. We were very lucky to find an AirBnB literally a stones throw from the beach, but we still had a blast wandering around the winding streets of the small town!
Big island connected but a bridge to Croazia. Many beaches. Nice restaurants and churches
My trip to Croatia landed me here on the island of Krk and I couldn't have been happier about my stay here. It is beautiful, there are tons of wonderful beaches some crowded and some private. There is delicious food, especially when you get home-cooked meals :) There are treasures to be found here and it is all within reach!
