Captain Michalis Apartments is located in Galatas, 5 km West of the city of Chania, near the Kalamaki beach, in the olive-oil tree hights. Thanks to the ease of access to the National Road and the Galatas interchange, Captain Michalis can be the base for the excursions which everybody who travels to Chania is planning. At a very small distance (less than 1 km) you can find the safe and family friendly beaches of Kalamaki and Agioi Apostoli. At a relatively small distance (around 4-5 km), there are located the busy and cosmopolitan beaches of Agia Marina and Platanias who offer dream vacations for the younger with all-day fun at the beach-bars and nighttime clubbing. Also, within 2km you can find the aqua park of Limnoupolis in Agia Village. Finaly, at the reasonable distance of 5km, there is the Chania modern city with the famous old Port with its pittoresque light-house.
