1. Air New Zealand

2. Virgin Australia
Use the 41” seat pitch and 9” recline to get a little shut-eye on board your Virgin Australia flight. Along with the standard pillows and blankets, you’ll receive an amenities kit including REN Skincare – so you can emerge refreshed and slightly less bleary-eyed in your destination. Follow it with a Nespresso coffee and snacks from the Premium pantry, which both come as standard in Virgin Australia’s Premium Economy.

3. Qantas

4. Singapore Airlines
Not only have Singapore Airlines’s seats been voted some of the best in Premium Economy, but their cabins have been voted one of the best for long haul trips too.
You can recline eight inches in your 38" seat pitch seat, 19.5" across. The luxury continues with Singapore Airlines’ premium menu options. 5. Japan Airlines
Like Air New Zealand, Japan Airlines offer 42" seat pitch in their Premium Economy seats, combined with a 19.2 seat width. You can choose to book a Standard Seat on Japan Airlines, or you could splash out on a Shell Seat. In these seats the tray table fits an A4 laptop, as well as a leg rest and foot rest. All of Japan Airlines seats are stationary, meaning that they don’t go backwards when reclined – no personal space issues here.
The in-flight menu is comprised of traditional Japanese dishes with bento boxes of udon noodles, sushi and red bean pancakes. Not only are there movies and TV shows for in-flight entertainment on your 12 inch screen, but you can read an electronic manga comic on board too.
