Departing from Auckland
Auckland International Airport is 20km south of the city centre, and there are a number of options for passengers to get there. Public buses are the cheapest option, but a taxi gets you there in half the time.
Once at the airport, it's easy to progress through the system. After checking in on the ground floor of the International Terminal, passengers move upstairs towards the departure gates, restaurants and duty-free stores.

Los Angeles Airport (known as LAX) is America's 2nd busiest airport and one of 4 in the country that you can fly to directly from Auckland.
