Pleasant overall
We stayed for 7 nights this time. Our room was renovated and comfortable. Housekeeping was very patchy: our room got cleaned once during our stay, towels were exchanged on a random basis. They obviously prioritise short/overnight stays.
Breakfast (continental) was very ordinary, however the cooked breakfast (extra cost) was very good. The dinner menu was varied and the food was excellent - very good chef. A bit pricey for every day, though.
There is a guest laundry- bring your own detergent, and when we there, the room needed a deep clean.
Location is very good: quiet, walking distance to town. The artesian pools are very nice: the outdoor one at around 35C is comfortable, the indoor one didn’t feel much warmer. However, when we were there, other guests used the bubble spa continuously and I suspect that that sends in colder water.
Overall, a good stay (housekeeping has room for improvement). We’ll be back.

This was our fourth visit over four years. There was only one reason we kept booking the Artesian Motel was for the artesian indoor and outdoor natural hot pools. This year after three years returning for four days, expecting how it had been on past visits. For three days the two artesian pools were Lukewarm to say the best and on the fourth day a few points were added, but still not what it was in the past.
Then came the excuses verging from mild excuses to lies. I checked out the final lie when told by management it was, the Artesian water levels were lower than normal, and management had to close it down daily for a set period. I checked this out with the local council. They advised me there were no restrictions on drawing artesian water, a lie.
On arrival we paid for a larger unit with a kitchenette unbeknown to us these units did not receive any sunlight, so we requested a unit that had the sun most of the day. A downgrade, but no offers of any sort of refund or other benefit to offset our financial loss.
We were not the only visitors who had returned from visits, many we spoke to were also extremely disappointed and like us will never return.

Change of Management left a lot to be desired.
Have been to this Motel previously and really enjoyed my visit. This time unfortunately, it has changed hands. The reception was not friendly, no hot water showers was cold, room was adequately made up but the WIFI dropped in and out. Towels for the spa did not really cover you very small and dingy looking whereas they were nice and large and the main spa is suppose to be a hot 38 degrees where it was not cool and not that clear. We had booked for 2 nights and left after one. The final straw was the breakfast, suppose to be a continental breakfast included and it was only cereal and toast? When we asked the Manager to contact us, no response.

Lovely stay
Pools were great and the bed was so comfy, will stay here again if ever back in Moree, very friendly and lovely staff.

When we arrived and finally checked into our room we found the toilet had not been cleaned and had not been flushed. Later to turned on the air conditioner but it did not work. When we wanted a coffee for both of us there was only 1 cup and saucer in the cupboard and NO teaspoons. I went to reception to complain however no one was there on a message to phone. This was at 4.15 pm. I phoned but after holding on for about 3 minutes it went to voicemail. I left a message advising we did not steal the other cups or teaspoons plus the air conditioner was not working. I fully expected to receive a knock on the door or a phone call but NOTHING. We both like to sleep on 2 pillows each however the only one each provided were paper thin and there we none in the cupboard. On the next morning the toilet seat broke. I would rate the motel as about 1-1.5 stars and there Hot pools were NOT VERY HOT
