Quiet shared accomodation
We knew when we booked that this was shared accomodation, however, we ended up being the only ones staying there the one night we were there. It has three lockable rooms off common kitchen and bathroom areas. The kitchen has a big table with 6 chairs, a full size fridge / freezer, an oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and sandwich press. There are lots of pots and frying pans, oven trays, cutting boards, utensils, crockery and cutlery, dishwashing supplies and the ubiquitous insect spray. Supplies of sugar, coffee, tea bags were in pretty containers. The air conditioner in the kitchen works well. It is light and bright with tiled floors throughout. The apartment used to be accessed via an internal stair as the main lights are in the hallway leading to a curtain. Everything was very clean.
Our bedroom was spacious enough with a queen bed and two bed side tables. I liked the big wooden bed; it had character. There was a thin doona on top and two pillows. No extra bed linen but, though winter, it was 25 degrees at night so that was not an issue and the bedroom split system air conditioner was quiet. There was one bedside light, two power points on one side of bed. Yet another power point runs a mini fridge in room and the TV. There was no luggage storage in the bedroom but there was room on the floor. The bathroom area has a large shower (good water pressure and hot) with curtain, basic hand and body wash and large bath mat. Private towels are supplied. There is a seperate toilet with lots of toilet paper and a basic sink which has no place to put toiletries.
This was an inexpensive place to stay but is a little out of town with nothing in easy walking distance nearby. We walked about a kilometre to a shopping / restaurant street (we had a car anyway). The street was quiet and the first floor apartment is accessed via external stairs to the rear. An outdoor concrete table and bench are set on the outside stairs landing which was obviously used for smoking. Parking out front was behind gates locked at 9:00-9:30 pm and opened around 5pm, however your keys let you in that gate as well. Wifi works but has poor bandwidth though my phone, while better, didn’t have great reception either. The office is also upstairs. Staff were welcoming and happy to converse and advise.

Good spot to stay- great value
Top spot.Very clean and spacious. Allan and Annie made us feel very welcome even driving us to the railway station at the end of our four night stay. Bed was comfy, everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great value.

The best sleep
We booked this for a night in Isa not really expecting too much as we were just passing through for the night! It was easy to find & well priced! I had msg to say we would be late which was fine! When we arrived we met the nicest people ! Annie, Alan & Tully the dog! They were so nice & friendly & the accommodation was awesome. The place was spotless the bed was crazy comfortable & the sheets were a treat so soft! We had a whole block to ourselves with a full kitchen, shower etc! The shower was so hot with the best pressure! We could have stayed for a week! We both had the best sleep!
It’s close to town but was so peaceful. If travelling through Isa do yourself a favour & book this place & meet the friendliest people! We would def go back:)

Management is rude and disrespectful they never give you your mail they keep it they steal clothes that belong to you

Very basic accommodation
This location is not a hotel or motel. It is closer to a back packers hostel with a number of permanents in the building. The room had a small fridge however it was turned off upon arrival. I can understand why as this location does not provide any in room condiments and guests have to share a toilet and shower. When I state that you have to share a shower, I mean there two showers with one change cubicle so you definitely get to know the other guests. For $90 per night I would suggest that you pay a few extra dollars and stay a real hotel. I have given this location one star as the room was clean.
