Relaxing place to stay glamping

What a beautiful place to stay, relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner and the breakfasts were amazing. Huskisson is nearby so we did some lovely walks. The staff friendly and very professional. Hopefully we can get back for another visit

Glamping at it best!

Paperbark Camp is a unique experience. Although you are staying in safari tents, the amenities, attention to detail, and excellent service make it seem like a 5-star hotel. Our family of four (kids are 23 and 20) felt it was a highlight of our trip to Australia. We paddled canoes on the river, rode bikes to town to visit breweries, played games and had cocktails by the fire, and participated in a Chef's Table Dinner. We highly recommend the Chef's Table if they are offering it during your stay. We happened to be with the owners of the camp and their friends. The food was exceptional, and the chef presented each dish and answered questions from the table. It was like sharing the best meal ever with your friends and family! We would recommend Paperbark to anyone for a romantic getaway or family adventure.

A Lovely Week on the South Coast

A secluded spot, with lots of wildlife around. We stayed in the King Parrot tent, which was the largest. It was fabulous, but the heater does not work easily and the sides are heavy to put down and up (although I'm sure housekeeping would do this for you if asked) when it's cold, and it gets cold on the south coast in May! The bed and the tent's atmosphere were beautiful.
Great outdoor shower and toilet as well as a huge indoor bath.
We used their bikes and they were good quality. The breakfast that's included was delicious! They had a Chef's Table dinner which we went to, with 8 others we had not met, and it was a lot of fun. The fire pit on the verandah, with a glass of wine, was a beautiful start or end to a meal. Husky is only a 5 mins drive away, where there are great walks and fabulous restaurants.

Food of a fine dining class - you must try

It was a lovely setting but you do not see much wildlife. I think with all the tents etc they have moved further away.
The tents were well equipped - we can all live without a TV but think they should have a fridge.
Recommend you book breakfast and dinner as well worth it - food was of a fine dining class - but they need to offer more choice. They did take this on board as we stayed three nights - so thank you for the lovely lamb meal.
Staff are extremely friendly and attentive and it was a lovely stay.

Beautiful Gateway

We had a wonderful stay at Paperback Camp. The Gunyah Restaurant was absolutely beautiful with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The hospitality was exceptional, all the staff were warm and welcoming, and the chef was especially friendly and attentive. Everything made our experience feel relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended.
