Very comfortable and recommendable

I was traveling on business and was greeted very politely and kindly.
There are plenty of free parking spaces in the courtyard.
The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast was great!
I'd love to come back!

Base for a cycling tour

Very friendly and warm welcome from the owner, great historical building, plenty of parking, good value for money in a picturesque area, in the middle of the season. The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a big parking space in the back of the building.

Feel at home for it's my home in Austria

As a tour leader, I brought a group of 32 guests to Salzkammergut and stayed at this hotel just for one night. Oh the last night was the best night for us all! Couldn't be any better choice!
This hotel itself is a historical inheritance from the 14th centry. And the typical Austrian wooden house gave us a very special feeling not to speak of comfortableness. The rooms are different in styles and size and it made us even happier.
My favorite part was the landlady Elisabeth's charming service with dignity and pride. We all respected her gracious attitude which made us feel prestige. The breakfast was simply the traditional Austrian style and very delicious.
For sure I'll come back to this hotel again even with my own family some day.

Very nice place

A really nice and traditional place with a long history. Ms. Elisabeth Fimberger, the owner, is a very caring lady and it was a pleasure to find ourselves under her roof. Both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were really good.

business trip to frankenmarkt

Had to drive from Munich, arrived just after midnight. Despite this late hour Elisabeth was happy to show me to my accommodation and explain breakfast times, parking and access. On the second night I used the restaurant for food. Again it wasn't any trouble for Elisabeth to explain the menu and offer assistance. The tomato soup is possibly the best I have had anywhere in the world. The main meal was also very nice. Breakfast is traditional European but it's fresh and plentiful. If I ever visit the area again I will stay here without hesitation.
