Great service, location and warm, welcoming atmosphere

I enjoyed my week ski holiday stay at the Hotel Anemone. It is an excellent location, with ski in/out access with only a couple minute walk, but is also only a short 5 minute walk to the Main Street of Lech. It is a very good value for money, especially for Lech, where many hotels focus on serving the very wealthy people. I travelled alone and the single room was perfect for me. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a friendly, diverse group of guests, so it is easy to have a comfortable experience. The ski room has enjoy space for your gear, and easy to access on return with your key card.. The rooms are modern, clean and it is quiet at night for a good nights sleep. Breakfast and dinner was very good with variety of selections. Lastly, the thing that I liked best was the very good service (making ski passes, answering questions. And, I was very impressed with the personal service for my trip because, due to heavy snow and avalanche danger, the Flexenpass was closed only 30 minutes before my bus could pass. The hotel called me to inform me, and offered to find me a room below the pass. They found someplace in Klosterle for the night, and it saved me from a lot of stress. It was a very kind thing to do, and I was very grateful for their help. I will look forward to return again.

Four solid stars, well maintained and casual - A recommendation in Lech.

Family-run hotel in a prime location to the town centre (5 minutes walk) and to the slopes - to/from the chairlift "Schlegelkopf" it is only a few steps. Bright parking garage with ski storage and direct access to the lift to the upper floors. I had booked a nice single room with couch and balcony on the first floor. This well-kept and casual hotel is suitable for couples, families and singles. The sauna area is exceptionally spacious, there are several steam baths, sauna cabins and relaxation zones. The cuisine in the hotel is really excellent, the food is down to earth tasteful, sufficiently portioned and always refined with a creative touch. The small bar offers a nice selection of drinks. I would particularly like to highlight the kindness and attention of the staff - in the room service, reception and restaurant, where Mr Nikolaj has been paying particular attention to the well-being of guests for over 15 years. If I come back to Lech, then gladly back to the Hotel Anemone!

Genuine Austrian Hospitality

Anemone is a family-run hotel which we have stayed at now for the second year. The family and their wonderful staff offer true Austrian hospitality, with warmth, efficiency, comfort, friendship and very personal service. Breakfast offers a broad choice of cooked and cold buffet as well as fresh juices and homemade muesli’s, jams, etc. There is always a hot/savoury option + cakes for afternoon tea. Plus the included dinners are 5 course and of exceptional quality (choices of meat, fish and vegetarian every night for the mains). The hotel has an excellent wine list, at fair prices. The rooms are high quality and all rooms have great outlooks onto the mountains. There is a games room with pool table, table tennis, fussball, etc. There is also an excellent wellness area, with multiple saunas, etc. You do have to carry skis across the road but it is only about 50m to where you can ski down to the base lift in less than 20 seconds. The hotel sits just above Lech village and is about a 3 minute walk down the hill to the shops, bars, etc. Overall the hotel is very private and peaceful, with a lovely lounge area for afternoon teas and pre/post dinner drinks, etc. I could not recommend this hotel more highly, and thank Agnes, Johannes and Matthias and their extended family and staff for another fabulous fortnight with our friends from around the world.

Lech- February 2026

We spent a week at Hotel Anemone in February. The accommodation was good and not far from the centre of Lech. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food , particularly in the evenings, was good.
