Stop right now, wait a minute mister Postwirt…

My one abiding memory of this hotel is the warmth and charm of the staff. Yes the Spa is divine, of course the food is spectacular, without doubt the location is perfect. But it is always the natural personality of the staff that shines through. I’m sure that this is no chance occurrence (this is Austria after all - and attention to detail is key) and has to be an extension of the ethos and genuine sense of hospitality of the owners / managers.
This stalwart (apologies for the obscure English word) is clearly in good hands

Perfect location, great rooms and lovely staff

Perfect location right in the middle of town next to the tourist office.
Great rooms spread across new and original buildings.
Lovely bright and friendly staff everywhere you go.
The food is very good with many local specialties and especially the breakfast with eggs, honey and yummy Goats yogurt all produced within the local villages.

Our absolute favorite hotel.

We have visited many hotels in this category, but this one is by far the best. Everything is just right here; all the staff are very friendly and helpful, very warm hosts, beautiful clean rooms with a separate toilet area.
With great attention to detail, all areas of the hotel are beautifully decorated, and the tables for dinner are constantly set differently and very tastefully.
The outdoor area is also very well maintained and clean. There is a beautiful wellness area with a relaxation zone.
The breakfast buffet and the dinner leave nothing to be desired; everything is fresh, very delicious, and is constantly replenished. The staff always checks to ensure everything is in order at the buffet.
In the evening, the hotel is beautifully illuminated from the outside; lamps on the tables create a cozy and atmospheric ambiance.
A lot of thought has gone into making guests feel completely comfortable and welcome in this hotel. Thank you very much for that....
We always enjoy returning to this excellently managed hotel.

Incredible hotel right in the centre of town. Immaculately clean, food and service excellent, a peaceful setting with amble amenities. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will most certinaly stay there again if back in Soll.

Fantastic ski stay

I stayed at the Der Postwirt for a week of skiing with my son, Mathew, and it was another fantastic experience. I’ve previously stayed here several times with my wife, Catherine, and it never disappoints.
The hotel offers excellent facilities, and both the breakfast and evening meals are superb. The dining staff are incredibly friendly and attentive—special thanks to Peter and Csilla, who were especially helpful throughout our stay.
After a full day on the slopes, the swimming pools and saunas were an absolute treat and the perfect way to unwind.
We will definitely be returning, and may even consider a summer holiday here as the surrounding area is truly beautiful.
