Good hotel for a good price

The room and the bathroom are big, clean and new. The towels are changed every day. The owner of the hotel is a nice person, willing to help or please the guests. He didn’t charge us the money until the last night, which surprised us. The last night he gave us a bottle of wine as a gift, which was very nice of him.
The restaurant just downstairs is good and affordable. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to visit Salzburgo. We took the bus every day, since there was a bus stop at the hotel. It took almost 50 minutes because it stopped in several villages, however the drive is worthy since the views from the bus are stunning. If you have a car, the hotel is not farther than 20 minutes from Salzburg.

Possibly the worst Italian restaurant in the world?

D'amici sounds Italian and they have spaghetti on the menu but that is so far as it goes. The minestrone is based on lard, the spaghetti were "al dente" a long time ago (if ever) the salad is drowning in vinegar.
Just don't bother.

Netter Abend im Restaurant

nette Bedienung und köstliches Essen - sehr gemütliche Räumlichkeiten. Ein italienisches Restaurant wie man es sich wünscht. Die Weinkarte lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Kellnerinnen ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend.

Bester Italiener weit und breit

Wir holen uns seit Jahren unser italienisches Essen vom Damici. Es schmeckt immer hervorragend und die Bedienung ist sehr kinderfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Tolle Weinauswahl.

Nie wieder!

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 15 Personen, also haben wir uns darauf eingestellt, daß des mit dem Essen wohl ein bißchen länger dauern wird. Weit gefehlt - manche von uns bekamen das Essen erst nach einer Wartezeit von 1Stunde 45 Minuten(!!!) serviert. Das geht gar nicht. Ich bestellt Nudeln mit Flußkrebsschwänzen und Trüffelöl. Was ich bekam waren Nudeln mit einer überbordenden Tomatensauce. Ein paar Flußkrebsschwänze in Miniaturform waren zwar dabei, ob ein Trüffelöl verwendet wurde ließ sich nicht eruieren - geschmeckt hat man nur die Tomatensauce(war aber nicht bestellt, aber nach einer so langen Wartezeit hätte ich auch ein Stück trockenes Brot gegessen).Auch die anderen in der Gruppe fanden das Essen so richtig schlecht. 2 Punkte, statt einem, nur deswegen weil die heillos überforderte Kellnerin wenigstens freundlich war. Das Lokal ist absolut NICHT zu empfehlen!
