Perfect location in the middle of the wineyards

Stayed at Stupperhof for 2 nights with friends for the second time. Very friendly welcome, nice rooms in the old house. Absolutely convenient location as several buschenschanks are within walking distance. Sitting outside in the afternoons enjoying a meal, some wine and a dessert was perfect. We also had an interesting wine tasting with samples of wine from Kilger, and ended up buying some for bringing home.

Fine for a night

We stayed here 1 night because of our long journey. The location and surroundings are fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is a little less. It was extremely hot and had a very small bathroom. In addition, the stairs upstairs creaked enormously.

Sehr gut, vor allem mit Kindern, aber noch nicht zu Ende gedacht und gestaltet.

Wir waren hier an einem herbstlich-sonnigen Sonntag und haben den Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse sehr genossen. Absolut positiv in Erinnerung bleibt das hervorragende Essen, der schöne große Gastgarten mit toller Aussicht und der tolle Kinderspielplatz mitsamt Ziegen zum Streicheln. Negativ ist zu erwähnen, dass das Gesamterlebnis noch nicht ganz stimmig ist: Alles wirkt noch etwas unfertig und nicht ganz bis zum Ende durchdacht und gestaltet. Von der Zusammensetzung der Karte über die etwas lieblos wirkende Dekoration bis hin zum spärlich bestuhlten Gastgarten - es wirkt als wäre man noch nicht ganz fertig… Aber wie gesagt: Die Qualität der gebotenen Speisen war sehr gut (auch sehr bekömmlich, obwohl „Hausmannskost“) und gerade mit Kindern ist der Stupperhof eine tolle Wahl, da diese sicher beschäftigt sein werden (Der Kinderspielplatz ist von der Terrasse her einsichtig, aber weit genug entfernt, um andere Gäste zu stören - das ist Top!)

Gutes Essen, leider sehr schlechter Service

Das Essen im "Stuperhof" schmeckt zwar gut, leider lässt die Bedienung sehr zu wünschen übrig. Mussten zwanzig Minuten warten, bis sich jemand bemühte, uns die Karten zu bringen. Das Essen kam dann zwar sehr schnell, danach war's allerdings 45 Minuten vorbei mit der Bewirtung. Das geht wirklich nicht und gab dem Aufenthalt einen sehr bitteren Beigeschmack. Fazit: Wir kommen nicht mehr!

Gute zentrale Lage und schöne Zimmer

Die Lage ist sehr gut, wir hatten das Deluxe Doppelzimmer gebucht und waren mehr als zufrieden, wir hatten eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf die Weinberge, das Frühstück ist in Ordnung wenn auch nicht überragend. Die Speisekarte hat auch etwas exotischere Gerichte wie beispielsweise Büffelleberkäse zu bieten, alles in allem ein gutes Preis - Leistungs - Verhältnis, wenn auch die Weine nicht aus Kitzeck sondern aus Gamlitz sind.
