Friendly people, good food, clean rooms.

About 1.5 weeks ago booked an overnight stay at Hostellerie - Restaurant Daiseldaele in transit to France.
With this review I finish very quickly because I can only judge Daiseldaele positively.
After a warm welcome by the host and his wife, who were very friendly by the way, we were escorted to our room, which was not extremely large but you don’t see that when you sleep anyway.
She was clean, tidy and thoughtful about everything, including in the bathroom.
I myself am very resistant to heat, but even that was thought of.
In the closet was a large vertical fan, that I only saw it in the morning is another point haha.
But the room was cool enough to sleep in it.
Anyway, after the guidance and explanation to and from the room we went on the terrace to enjoy a few drinks.
Then we went to dinner which we also enjoyed tasty, the food tasted perfect to us.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious, a rich continental breakfast where everything was thought of.
When we finished breakfast we continued our journey towards France.
But if we are in the area again, and we would like to stay overnight, I will definitely try to see if there is still a room available.
In short; it is definitely a real recommendation.

Truly excellent

This was a last minute booking and I did not regret it. Fabulously welcoming owners, clean, comfortable- really confortable bed ! - great sélection for dinner and a most amazing breakfast . Really fabulous place

Brilliant

The couple that run the hotel were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Such a lovely place. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed and more. Can’t rate the restaurant and food highly enough, absolutely amazing.

Comfortable and Friendly

Stayed here for one night with my teenage son when visting the nearby WW1 cemetry. As we needed to be in the area there wasn't much choice of hotel but even if there had been we'd have chosen this one! The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee and fridge. It may have become a bit small for a longer stay but for what we wanted it was perfect. There was also a beautiful outside area with seating for warm evenings. Lovely bathroom with toiletries and hair drier. Also good doors on loo and shower so very private, this is sometimes a problem for mother and son travelling together! Very comfortable beds we slept very well. After a wander around the village we returned to the hotel to try their dinner, which was wonderful, well worth stopping here. Breakfast the next morning was equally as good. The owners were really friendly and gave us lots of useful information about the local area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

3 Night Stay

Together with three friends visiting the area to see the World War 1 Battlefields, we chose this hotel for our stay and were not disappointed . Good value for money with friendly hosts and excellent breakfasts. The clean annex rooms were much as expected although internet access was sometimes frustrating.
In a good position I would have no reservations about recommending it .
