We stayed at the Hill View Inn (Hill View Guest House according to Apple Maps) on our way back from Maun, with our two kids and two adult friends. We were happily surprised by the accommodation facilities and the friendly staff that tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are rather small but very clean, with comfortable mattresses, the bathrooms are simple, clean with clean towels. We arrived late, and the cook prepared us supper consisting of T bones, chips and salad. Took a while, but everything was prepared from scratch. In the morning, we kindly asked for early breakfast, which was ready by 06:30. Overall we would recommend this accommodation for a night's stay. A bit hard to find, so either arrange for a pick up from a nearby point of interest or ask for the manager to send you the location via whatsapp

Our check in was horrible. We booked the executive room a month before but when we got to the place we were told that the executive rooms are fully booked we will have to settle for standard room.
Firstly, we booked executive room because of a reason, now we had to settle for a small bed horrible shower and not to mention that the standard room was not that clean. However, we were moved to the executive room the day after. When we asked about the refund for Friday night, they came up with stories and attitude .

Clean & cool but badly managed

We turned up and luckily got two rooms for our hot and tired family. Rooms are clean however only the bedroom is air conditioned, there is only enough cutlery, tea and coffee for one person - and only one towel.
When we asked if we could have dinner we were told we would have to wait until 10pm because that was when the hospital staff who stay here finish their shifts! Breakfast is free for one person everyone else has to pay - even though we had two rooms.
Man at reception is clueless and took our money without offering change, I had to ask for it. Staff don’t seem to care.
Disappointing - but no other options in Serowe.

The food was inedible. The place was unfinished and the road was a bad dirt road. There was a trash dump in front of the hotel. The construction crew started at 7 AM

Had twelve other hotels and this was the second to worse one !! Horrible service....
