We were fortunate to get a room on the ground floor. It was so convenient to park right outside our door and also had an additional back door to the hallway leading to the elevator. The lobby was beautiful and check in was easy and timely. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious both mornings with friendly and efficient service. The view over the apple trees stretched across the valley all the way to the water. The rooftop terrace was a relaxing place to read or just sit and take in the sunshine. A couple of negatives was issues with our bathroom. The regulator for the tub did not have the correct handle and therefore it was difficult to operate. A hand held shower head would have been an ideal addition. Also grab bars in the shower should be considered for overall safety purposes. The fresh apple on the table in our room was a clever touch that I appreciated.

A budget family getaway

Old Orchard inn is good if you are not expecting creature comforts of a star hotel. Room and bathroom was clean . Has all the standard amenities. The star of them is the Nespresso. However the room is not noise proof. If you are booking the valley view, view is good. It overlooks the highway. You can hear the traffic. There are other options for stay which may be better, because the property is surrounded by apple trees and trails. Mine was a two queen bed valley view . The restaurant is great. There is a reasonably good gym, pool and hot tub. Great for a budget getaway for a family.

The Old Orchard Inn was beautifully updated. However our room did have stained and dirty carpet. The staff were friendly and professional. However our daughter and son in law were unable to change their room to accommodate their need for a king sized bed. They were given an accessibility room which they did not register for. They were told they could not make the change due to 3rd party rules.

This property deserves a 4+ star rating. Stunning architecture, cleanliness was superb, great layout with lots of room to roam around the cottage, attention to details far surpassed all expectations. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling in the area!

We stayed in a superior cabin. It was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Old Orchard had very pleasant grounds and walking areas. The pool, hot tub and sauna were very good.
