Victorian era charm with modern era amenities.

This Victorian house (B&B) is exceptional for it's charm, location and amenities. Modern, up to date facilities built around a wonderfully authentic décor.
Gerry, the owner and his wife are master hosts and make ever guest feel like returning family.
Gerry is a master chef and his ever changing breakfast menus are a culinary treat. He caters to what his guests prefer but let him select and you will still be delighted by the experience.
This is a great place to base your Georgian Bay area visit from. Can't wait to go back.

A perfect birthday weekend

We visited mid September. Gerry and his wife were a joy to talk too. We were warmly welcomed. This was our second stay at A Charters Inn, and we were treated like returning family. This time we stayed in the King room off the kitchen. Very comfortable. Everything we needed. Great sized room with full bathroom. Our own private entrance, close to car. Although we didn't need the car locally. Within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, marina (we recommend the Miss Midland cruise btw), shops and weekend market.
After a refresher tour of the inn, Gerry recommended a couple great restaurants and immediately called our choice himself for reservations, even letting them know it was my birthday. Of course all food and drink recommendations were excellent. And We visited several! We ended the first evening in the hot tub, under the stars.
Both breakfasts we had were A-mazing! I was so excited to have Gerry's extra special and most delicious Eggs Benedict served on my birthday, accompanied by a special rendition of happy birthday! Enjoying breakfast high up from the street, on the front patio was a great way to start each day.
We look forward to a return visit. Definitely recommend 1875 A Charters Inn. A++

Cozy welcome and breakfast a must!

Visited the B & B last august,
Very well located close to the center of town.
We very much enjoyed the cozy welcome, during our stay.
The advice for dinning outside was perfect and the morning breakfast: a must.

Rustic charm

A very charming, rustic comfortable bed and breakfast. Gerry was not just an excellent host, he was a great chef too. Breakfast was delicious and healthy and served on the beautiful spacious veranda.
We will visit again!

Perfect B&B

What a treat staying with this B&B. Gerry the host is a gourmet chef and the breakfast starting with fresh fruit and freshly made blueberry pancakes was a real treat. To bad we only could stay for one night.
