Way better from what I expected. It’s an old building, but well preserved. Bed was comfy and decent. One of the best hotel check-in. The walls are quite thin though . We could hear the next room guest stomping around. The only down side was there were some black mold on the shower walls.

Room was clean. There was no staff on property, but the directions we were sent were easy to follow. It was really cold in the room, then really hot. We couldn’t figure out how to use the temp remote. Great location. We never found the parking lot recommended in the room key card. Overall, great location d you’re staying a night or two! Too small for anything longer.

This property is in dire need of repairs. The common areas are neglected. Even the house keeping storage areas reflect the management’s neglect. The property pictures do not reflect the overall condition of the property. We even had to request a new shower curtain as the existing one was moldy.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The best part was definitely the location—it was very central and made it easy to walk to many of Quebec City’s main attractions. The on-site parking was also extremely convenient and made our trip much easier. The bed, pillows, and bedding were very comfortable, and we slept really well.
There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The room was quite small, and four light bulbs were not working during our stay. Housekeeping also forgot to leave extra toilet paper, so we had to improvise with tissues until we could replace it ourselves.
The biggest inconvenience was that there was never anyone at the reception desk, from the moment we arrived until we checked out. Unfortunately, the service phone was also not working, making it impossible to contact the hotel staff when we needed assistance. Improving communication and guest support would make the experience much smoother.
Overall, the excellent location and comfortable bed made for an enjoyable stay, but addressing these small maintenance and service issues would greatly enhance the guest experience.

The self checkin was easy and the room was clean and comfortable, although being an older building, the bathroom was small. There wasn't a staff person at reception but directions were easy to follow. The parking lot was a few blocks away and it was a little difficult to navigate a busy downtown during the festival.
