It is within 2 minutes walking to all cultural sights and transport terminals (bus, train, ferry). It provides the view to the city park on one side and Diocletian's palace wall on the other. Great Location & Friendly Staff

We stayed at Luxury Apartment Matkovic
Frane & Ivana are extremely helpful
The location is fantastic - inside the castle, and just 60 seconds walk to the church
The apartment has nice sunlight, and is very airy
The apartment is decked with top-class appliances, and it also has a jacuzzi
From the apartment terrace, we could hear the live music from Luxor
I would surely re-book this apartment
It is on the fourth floor

Perfect location

Right on the old city wall, a perfect location. Secure, quiet and well appointed, exactly as shown in website photos. Washing machine was a bonus. Our ferry was arriving late, but someone was waiting at reception for us...very helpful and friendly.

great location

the apartment was ok though no kitchen as such, just kettle and tiny fridge but location was amazing. Situated in the old city wall meant everything was to hand though a little difficult to find, we were lucky with parking but I think it could be an issue. The owner and staff were very helpful. One downer was a very noisy pub next door that opened until early in the morning.

Good, but not great.

Booked this place at least 6 months prior, and reading reviews, we expected a huge room and bathroom. It's a good size bedroom, and relatively small bathroom. Maybe it's the luck of the draw, but we feel we got the "short straw." Read about washing machine in the rooms and didn't get one - we asked about it and he said there's only one in one room. Hm.
Nice and clean, comfy bed, and right on the edge of the old wall, but not much else to write about. Just came from Dubrovnik with similar price point hotel which had way more to offer.

Clean hotel in perfect

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this lovely small hotel in the centre of Split. The location is fabulous, right in the heart of the city and on the edge of the Dicoletions Palace. Lovely friendly staff who are willing and able to help with questions about Split. Also got some brilliant recommendations about where locals go to eat. Can't thank the staff enough.
