Good experience at Ajstrup Camping..

really nice space and good facilities, it is so beautifully located by beach and forest
everything works satisfactorily
recommend the place and the area, lots of options
and if you gather many, the community house is well equipped for a gathering

Tried to apply for cancellation before the stay but rejected my request.In the end we did not stay yet they did not give back the refund and did not pick up any of my call

Nice space, but with room for improvement

The place is nice and quiet and well located a little outside of Aarhus and down to the beach.
However, it is not very child-friendly.
Toilet building 2 was very cold and dirty as well as lack of lighting.
The staff at the venue was very nice and helpful.
The pool was nice and warm, however the dressing conditions were very small and not family suitable (there was no puzzle table) - this unfortunately meant that many jumped into the pool without washing.
Playgrounds were good.
It is the most expensive place we have visited so far, and it was not worth the money.

Cottage at ajstrup beach camping

Aarhus Cottage
- Not similar to the photos on the website
- no knikes for clothes
- The door is drained below (you can see through)
- The windows were open when we arrived and there was very moist in the cabin
- Dark black moist spots in the window frames due to moisture
- Spider tissue and dead insects in the rooms
- Bad mattresses
- Bed for short (186cm high)
- Kitchen drawer with cutlery in pieces, the front was completely loose and there was a screw through the front
- The refrigerator is old and noises a lot
- The toilets are not marked on the map of the square
- The pool had been closed for a week when we arrived but we had not been told before we checked in, we got the money back for pool entrance, but would have been better with notice before arrival
- We chose to go home after 1 night, got the money back for the remaining nights.
