Clean comfortable and wonderful hosts!

Rooms were clean as was the shower. They offer filtered water and excellent hearty food. There is a pool, hot tub and sauna on site. Kisses from llamas were and added bonus!

Trekking the Quilotoa Loop

Rustic pine grove location in the pueblo of Sigchos, Ecuador. Decent accommodations with comfortable beds. Outstanding food, with brand new spa amenities. The owners have had the place for two years and are working toward making it a go-to destination along the loop. Mari made a vegetarian plate for me that I won’t soon forget. The lodge is outdated and in no way sound proof and the bathrooms need to be remodeled or at least steam cleaned; however, one must keep in mind it's a mountain lodge and not a 5-star hotel. It has a summer camp feel. John is avid about increasing tourist knowledge about the area which allowed us to learn things we'd like to experience on our next visit.
