Great!
Bob Hotel Mitte in Berlin is located in a quiet area near the metro and many attractions.
The rooms were spacious with their own dining area, kitchen and all the equipment needed. If we wondered about anything Bob was very quick to respond in the chat. Easy to avoid keys because everything is controlled via mobile phone.
I'd love to come back.

A “fully connected” hotel… except to the Internet
A “fully connected” hotel… except to the Internet
Wilde Berlin Mitte markets itself as a modern, digital, “fully connected” hotel. On paper, everything is there: online check-in, smart TVs, workspaces and, above all, free high-speed Wi-Fi, which the hotel itself promotes as an important feature, particularly for longer stays and guests working remotely.
In reality: 8 days without Wi-Fi during a 10-day stay.
It is difficult to imagine a more ironic situation.
This was not a minor connectivity issue lasting a few hours. Eight days means almost the entire stay. And when a hotel builds part of its identity around digital services, this is no longer a minor technical inconvenience: it is a major failure of the service being advertised.
What is even more revealing is this whole idea of being “fully connected.” If you replace traditional hotel services with digital solutions, the technology actually needs to work. Otherwise, you end up with the worst of both worlds: less human service and no reliable digital service either.
A hotel can survive a broken light bulb or a coffee machine that stops working. But advertising “free high-speed Wi-Fi,” presenting yourself as a modern hotel suitable for connected travelers and remote workers, and then leaving your guests without Internet for 8 days is extremely difficult to justify.
The irony is almost comical: a hotel determined to project an ultra-modern image ended up giving us an experience from the days when the Internet didn’t exist.
Being “fully connected” sounds great in a brochure. It would be even better if the Wi-Fi actually worked.
The location is good and the property has several positive features, but for us, this prolonged outage seriously damaged the experience and raises real questions about the hotel’s digital promise.
At this point, it isn’t a fully connected hotel. It’s a hotel that disconnects its guests.

Great location for being walkable to tourist attractions (museum Island, Berlin cathedral, etc). Hotel and room were clean and well thought-out. Do note that being online is "key" for this hotel, as it will allow you to unlock/access your room, and amenities (luggage and laundry rooms), so be sure to at least be on the hotel Wi-Fi upon arrival. Another note is the bathroom was small for my room, with a tight shower stall. Though I'm not a large person myself, I could easily bang my elbows against each side of the enclosed shower when washing my hair. That being said, we did enjoy our stay, and would return to this hotel down the road.

Small but nice
Stayed for one night at Bob M. Contact in advance via WhatsApp was good, check-in and other information were all digital. Room small, but okay. Well accessible by U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Recommended for a stay in Berlin.

I loved my stay at Bob W and would definitely recommend.
The accommodation was in a great location, situated only a couple of minutes from 2 underground stations and walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions!
The check-in process is great as long as you complete the online form prior to your stay (though the team are very responsive in WhatsApp if you do have any issues). But note that there’s no reception there - it’s all virtual
The optional extras are easy to add through the guest portal and add lovely touches to your stay (we went with the Polaroid camera which was a great addition!)
The room was lovely and spacious and the access to the communal areas and luggage rooms both prior to check-in and after checking out was really useful!
