Great burgers and a wonderful appetizer platter.

We were here for lunch after dining at the Klostergasthof Raitenhaslach the day before. At the Hotel Post, we also had exceptionally friendly and quick service; my wife ordered an appetizer platter that was very nicely arranged. My chicken burger with sweet potato fries was delicious, and the dip was equally great. My wife was very enthusiastic about her currant soda, and I was again impressed by the superb beer! In reference to a French proverb, I can only say: "A snack here, a glass of beer.....and then the king may come.....!" We would gladly come back here.

Good hotel overall but to my taste, the pillows are terrible.
Breakfast ok but coffee machine undersized so you need to wait for your coffee. And no yogourth available.

Perfect location - very delicious cuisine

Very good hotel right in the center of the old town Burghausen. Friendly, dedicated staff and very good cuisine in the in-house restaurant, open all day. At lunchtime, as in the evening we ate very delicious - there is also aw great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The grilled vegetables taste fantastic.
The rooms are nicely furnished, some with views of the castle or the town square and fairly quiet.
The only drawback were the parking spaces, in the evening unfortunately all parking spaces in the underground garage were occupied, so we parked nearby (at the kindergarten).
Definitely recommended.

Very friendly and helpful conditions.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Food and room was good. The location is great and right in the historic old town.
We felt very comfortable like home almost .

Just heavenly!

I am always happy in Burghausen when I am allowed to be back at the Hotel Post. The rooms are newly renovated and in top condition. The wood in the entrance hall is top glazed and sanded. The food? Devil's toast is always worth a trip! Just heavenly!
