Please do not book!!!
Very disappointing and unacceptable experience.
The accommodation was in a very unhygienic condition and did not correspond at all to the description or the pictures. Due to the condition I left the apartment after only about 15 minutes ,a stay was not possible.
The provider does not respond and assumes no responsibility whatsoever. Despite not being used, a refund was refused. In addition, a security deposit of 150 € was withheld, for no comprehensible reason.
I had to book another accommodation at short notice, which caused additional stress and costs.
I can only advise against booking here.

FINGER AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS !!!
Absolute cheekiness.
I still give the staff a positive review because the only staff was the gatekeeper of the housing complex and that was quite nice.
The apartment itself, please, fingers off.
It's a single disappointment.
Paid extra for bed linen and towels we never got.
Quick question, how many nights would they spend in a foreign apartment bed without bed linen??
There was a huge hole in the wall in the bathroom, the toilet just disgusting and unhygienic, the dishes dirty, the sink in the kitchen almost tragic, no toilet paper, no cleaning products,.....You can just see that here is zero value on cleaning and hygiene.
So now for the best. We tried to contact FeWo Köln on the first day and did so through different ways.
Email, by phone, through Booking.com.
No reply until 1 day after departure a message has come that the bed linen and towels are now there. That's crazy.
The subsequent correspondence with the landlord, Mr Ralph Otto Köln, owner and managing director of FeWo Köln (holiday apartments in a central location) was 0 discerning.
He then claimed we never arrived and could simply cancel the booking, which I see as an absolute mistake by Booking.com that this works.
I have been able to occupy everything, provided photo, spoke to Booking.com 3 times on the phone. Unfortunately, no help.
This landlord gets away with this scam.
I have now spoken to Booking.com again especially on the phone and to be allowed to rate this apartment at least (works as a Whg cancelled by the landlord because no longer) to be able to protect others from it.
Like I said. Please, fingers off the apartment.

TO BE ABSOLUTELY AVOIDED
Simply OBSCENE!!!
The apartment does not match the photos.
The place is shabby and dirty, the bathroom smelled of urine, the mattresses 5 centimeters thick without any protection, dirty curtains, improvised furniture and put there in some manner of bedding (paid separately) as well as being absolutely old and ugly was thrown on a bedthe kitchen was sad and bare, the cupboards dirty and with the shelves dismantled and full of dust.
In short, I refused to stay in that kind of structure, paying almost double to be able to stay overnight. ABSOLUTELY TO AVOID
Booking should not offer certain facilities are totally inadequate to accommodate people.

Fraud
This apartment was an imposition. 0 stars for it. There were four of us and we hoped that the reviews were a bit over the top but unfortunately they weren't. Our expectations were not very high but we were completely speechless in what condition this apartment was in. It is outrageous that these apartments should be allowed to be rented out at all. We were there for 5min, took pictures and looked for a new place to stay.

Experience to forget ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED
Horrible room, bad smell, door that did not close, we paid for the sheets for 4 people but they were only x 3 and besides we found them on the ground in an envelope, we also paid for towels and were consumed old and stained with bleach, bugs, full of dust, the bed with the stained mattress topper a miserable roll of toilet paper for 4 people..... In short HYGIENE 0
