Smart hotel.
The outside doesn't appeal greatly.
It has undergone renovation.
The check-in procedure was to pick up your keys and bill from the staff free reception. A contact number is provided.
Downstairs operates as a pizza delivery kitchen. The reception area is turned into a breakfast room for the morning.
As you go up the stairs, you can see it has been recently renovated. Fresh white walls.
The room we were given was an upgrade as the original room bathroom was being remodelled. The bathroom was large. Modern with all facilities.
The bedroom was a good size, and the double bed was comfortable with clean cotton.
There was a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities.
The breakfast was of a good buffet standard.
The manager introduced himself and was friendly and helpful. Parking outside can be tight with limited spaces.

Certainly not again
Booked a room directly through Pension Bären, received a booking confirmation but apparently there was no reservation on site. Still got a room without any problems (the room I had booked). 1 star for that. The room was clean, but 2 stars for that. The bedside lamp went out on the first night and stayed that way for the rest of the time. The advertised view was limited to the neighboring house about 2 meters away. The minibar was an empty refrigerator. Breakfast was stated to be available in the bakery next door. That's not true. A small breakfast buffet was offered with slightly burnt bread rolls, some sausage and jam and eggs. I tried breakfast in the bakery at my own expense - it would have been much better. The breakfast offered was clearly not worth the price it would have cost in the bakery. The room price is the same, however. The staff came across as very unfriendly and arrogant. It's actually a pizza delivery service and you can smell it half the night if you leave the window open. I often find myself in the area and Pension Bären was only an emergency solution as the hotel I had booked otherwise had no rooms available. So this will be my first and last booking.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
La pensione si trova ad hechingen, un paesino ai piedi del castello di Hohenzollern e dista una decina di minuti dal centro ( non immaginatevi granché come paese).
La struttura era pulita e ben tenuta, la camera dotata del necessario come bollitore, macchina per caffe e the con bustine e capsule a disposizione ed un tv; non era di sicuro per lunghi soggiorni, ma un paio di notti ci si può stare.
In stanza c'era anche un ventilatore in quanto, essendo all'ultimo piano, era piuttosto calda.
La colazione è stata servita in un locale al piano terra ed era tutto Self Service, nel senso che in sala non c'era nessuno, ma era presente una macchina automatica per l'erogazione di caffè, cappuccio, ecc..., dei distributori di cereali, marmellate, burro, pane e una sezione dedicata al salato con formaggio e prosciutto.
Solo un appunto per quanto riguarda l'accettazione, il ragazzo presente non parlava inglese e così neanche le ragazze delle pulizie che gestivano la pensione quando ce ne siamo andati; fortunatamente al momento del nostro arrivo era presente un amico italiano del portiere che ha fatto da traduttore, sennò sarebbe stato un problema...

Finger weg ! Zu viel berechnete Kosten werden nach mehrfacher Aufforderung nicht erstattet !!
Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen von dieser Pension großen Abstand zu nehmen !! Erstattung zu viel berechneter Kosten erfolgt nicht !
Mir wurde im Sommer während eines kurzen geschäftlichen Aufenthaltes ein fälschlicherweise zu viel berechneter Frühstücksgutschein für die auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite befindliche Bäckerei trotz monatelanger Aufforderungen via Telefon, Mail und zuletzt WhatsApp bis heute nicht vom Geschäftsführer/Inhaber zurückerstattet. Während meines Aufenthaltes war leider niemand zu einer Kostenerstattung und Rechnungskorrektur im Stande, da sich der Chef Herr Aygün zu diesem Zeitpunkt im Ausland befände und nur er dies initiieren könne. Allein das ist schon ein Unding. Für mich jedoch grundsätzlich kein Problem, kann man auch später klären.
Aber das ich dann monatelang als Gast in Bittsteller-Manier diesem Betrag hinterherlaufen muss und mir der Chef dann über Whats App am Ende hoch und heilig verspricht mir endlich den Betrag per Paypal zu senden und dies dann nicht tut, schlägt dem Fass wirklich den Boden aus. So ein derart unseriöses Geschäftsgebahren habe ich in 15 Jahren geschäftlicher Reisetätigkeit noch nie erlebt. Die ein oder andere Google Bewertung schildert übrigens Ähnliches !

Для переночевать - СУПЕР!
Останавливались семьей на одну ночь при поездке по замкам. Очень чистый, тихий отель. Хозяин - просто душка))) Вода, кофе, чай и т.п - все в номере, что очень приятно. Просторный двухкомнатный номер, правда на 3-м этаже, без лифта. Бесплатная парковка под окном. Завтрак в соседней кафешке напротив. Дешевый и достойный вариант.
