Absolutely recommendable.

We spent a weekend as a group at the Eiche Hotel. We particularly enjoyed the quiet location right by the stream. Breakfast and dinner were very varied and tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the effort of the bartender on Saturday, who, despite the bar closing, made everything possible so that we were provided with drinks even after 9 PM.

Little idyll in the most beautiful nature

The only downside we can give is the fact that the hotel is really very remote. But if you are looking for a lot of peace and green nature, you have come to the right place. The staff was always friendly and dedicated. The room, we have perceived as very clean and cozy. If you enter the same, a fresh, pleasant scent greets you and not even a window was open. This fact is particularly remarkable in that there is a fluffy carpet in the room, which I perceived as very clean. Even the bathroom smelled clean and also held a thorough examination. The bed offers a firm and non-sagging mattress. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of variety. There was sweet, savoury, healthy and sinful. You can choose coffee, as you please, at two fully automatic machines. The hotel has a restaurant that offers everything from meat, to fish, to vegetarian food and that, on a really very good level. Conclusion: We really liked the hotel. It makes a family-friendly impression and dogs are also very welcome. We can highly recommend the Waldhotel Eiche and will gladly come back!

More nature is not possible....a wonderful hotel

Here you can really enjoy the break from everyday life so wonderfully in nature. The hotel and the rooms are very nicely designed, the food delicious and at this point a big THANK YOU to all the staff of the hotel - always friendly and very service oriented.
It was our 3. Visit and we will definitely come back.

Nice hotel in the tranquility of the Spreewald!

The rooms are partly already very nicely renovated. Everything is clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely eager to satisfy the guests. Breakfast is rich and varied. Local specialties always integrated. Unfortunately there are no snacks for in between and in the evening there is nothing of the same. All the more sad as the hotel is very far away from all gastronomy. A fridge in the room,or a vending machine in the stairwell would be nice. All in all, however, a nice hotel,suitable for exploring the Spreewald.

Nice short trip, but no 4 stars, too bad

Restaurant and rooms were very nice and pleasant, except for the shower and shower head unfortunately only mediocre,.waiter in the restaurant very friendly and helpful. Reception could be more concerned with the excursion destinations and offers in the area, with customers requesting bad information, small maps of the area and insider tips would be nice. Unfortunately, the around the hotel was a bit dirty...4 stars expected otherwise.
