I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions.
It’s a very nice hotel but this time I was placed on the ground floor in the annexe.
There were pigeons nesting at the adjacent close hotel and the noise from the cooing of the pigeons was constant. The hotel knows about the issue.
A fan in the recent hot weather would have been welcomed as there is no air conditioning,

Small hotel, really good value for money

This is a small old-fashioned hotel in a small side street near Hauptbahnhof.
My room was small but clean and serviceable, the bed comfortable. As other people said, there is no lift and reception is closed over night, which didn't bother me. It was a bit noisy but no more so than I would expect near a train station. I also didn't think the area was particularly bad, no worse than anywhere near a big train station.
The location is very central, breakfast was good and it was amazing value for money in my opinion.

Nice small hotel close to the Main Station. Quiet despite the location. Nice patio area.

Clean, with comfortable beds but extremely dated and very small. No elevator so be sure to be travelling light if you end up on the 3rd floor like us. Main railway, bus station and city centre all within easy walking distance.
