A lovely, peaceful stay near Lake Starnberg

This is a perfect location to base yourself when visiting Lake Starnberg area, and is a short commute by vehicle to Munich. The area is a very quiet and peaceful village with most amenities and services only 5-10 minutes away. The town of Berg is 5 minutes away with plenty of restaurant options and a small supermarket. The larger town of Wolfratshausen is less than 15 minutes away and offers a larger choice of places to eat, shop and has a major train station that gets you directly into Munich within 40 minutes. Rooms and vey clean and tidy and are excellent value for money. Peter was our host and despite a slight language barrier he was very friendly and welcoming. I had some issues with my hire car and Peter helped me to contact Europcar and have the issue sorted out. Would definitely stay again.
