Repeat offenders

Was very pleased. Very friendly staff. Very nice family hotel. I'd love to come back. We recommend the good cuisine.

Location is a little out of the way for people using public transport although fine for car users. Breakfast is typical German being to a very good standard. Evening meals were excellent.

Doesn't work at all

Absolutely unacceptable.
Dirty rooms (other people's hair in the bed, no toilet paper, dirty carpet, room lighting not working properly).
Bad service too (in the restaurant you are simply ignored, staff prefer to type on their smartphones).

The best Inn in Hamburg!

This family-owned inn is the last of its kind in Hamburg! The owners are accommodating and welcoming to everyone who stays! They serve a limited menu and the restaurant is booked weeks in advance. The beer is amazing and available anytime you need. I highly recommend this hotel!

It's going ok

Service was good, staff very friendly and attentive.
The rooms in the attic are a no-no, for people who can't climb stairs well it's torture, I would have expected more for the money.
Breakfast was OK, I've had better.
