We stayed at the hotel for a night, really enjoyed the area around the hotel, saw some deers. The owner was very friendly. We had a lovely meat and cheese platters for dinner.

Never again.
As a couple we had booked a room here from 18 to 21 June 2026. Upon arrival we were in front of a CLOSED door. We rang the bell and were put through to the owner. You can apparently check in between 18h and 20h. No one's gonna be there for the rest of the day. We were let in remotely anyway and were allowed to take the "room card" from a rack with other cards. Find this strange... so we could take so many cards that we wanted. On the room (3rd floor, we were in a "attic room". 1 chicken window that was completely closed.It was very hot outside, but in that room....even warmer.There was NO air conditioning and also nothing of refrigerator to find.It would have 3 stars with a restaurant in the hotel itself.....that was closed by renovation! ! !We therefore really had to look in a valley where there are barely a few shops.The breakfast room and breakfast itself, are substandard. Also the choice of breakfast was very little and on our stay always the same.3 stars NOT worth.The toilet next to the breakfast room was dirty and very dirty. The room had a shower cabin with regular spray head and a rain shower head.That was the only plus point.The service itself is substandard,sheets and towels were not replaced,bed was NOT covered. The terrace in the hotel (3rd floor) was never cleaned (ashtrays were not emptied).The corridors were dirty and not maintained.There is free parking across the street. I would advise you not to come and stay at this Hotel.

Beautiful location with rolling hills, grazing sheep, and a ravine. Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed and breakfast was a bit pricey. No air conditioning units in the rooms but the staff are beyond kind and hospitable.

2 nights at the end of November.
No dinner possible.
In the room the heating is reduced to 10 degrees with negative temperature outside. Wait 2 hours with a winter jacket until the temperature rises.
In case of earlier departure, although the hotel is empty, 3 nights will be charged as cancellation fee.

I loved staying here. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful, green hillside in the Black Forest area. So peaceful with a little stream running down beside it. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Good breakfast. The hotel is just about an hour drive away from Europark, but out of the hustle of city life. With a rentacar the hotel is very easy to reach and is within range of a variety of sights to explore. Near it is a quaint town with restaurants and shops. In summary, the hotel is ideally located if you want to get out of the big cities and into the Black Forest area and relax while at the same time being able to scoot around and experience the local culture and tourist sights with a car. If we have another opportunity to visit this area, I would love to stay here again!
