Excellent location! Breakfast was very simple, basically boiled egg, cheese, bread and coffee or tea. Staff was very nice, and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated but very clean and I'm a quiet area, but walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Perfect location in Plaka. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very reasonable price. Not fancy hotel and rooms small but good for people wanting convenient location and good service.

The hotel's location in the Plakka neighborhood is awesome! The Acropolis, Arch of Hadrian & Syntagma Square are easily reached by foot. It's also close to the bus stop of x95, the express bus to ATH. Lots of tavernas and bars in the neighborhood make it so convenient.
Our go to guys were Giannis & George. Both so pleasant to deal with and offered lots of advice where to go. The kitchen staff was so gracious serving breakfast which was more than adequate. Authentic local cheeses, marmalades, pastries & even olives comprised the meal. We were quite surprised that breakfast offered a lot of stuff to choose from.
We found our room to be adequate in size, quiet & had a good A/C for the late spring heat in Athens. Had an issue with the bathroom, namely; a short shower curtain that gets the bathroom floor wet. The beds were clean and the linen supply pretty good.
The dining area can use a better A/C esp. after 9:00 in the morning when it can get really warm.

bad choice to stay overnight

The room didn't look like the pictures. It was very tiny and dirty, and the bathroom was old and not well taken care of. After taking a shower, the very small bathroom was full of water. The shower curtain was wrongly placed. Standing in front of the mirror with your feet in the water is very unpleasant. The old man who served breakfast was very moody. Not at all friendly. Tired of his job, I think. From the window, we looked at a completely dilapidated house and the garbage bins.
