Great stay at Hermes hotel

We’re currently staying our last night at Hermes hotel and we’ve loved it! The whole Hermes team are first class, friendly and helpful.
The room isn’t 5 star luxury, if you want that then go elsewhere and pay for it. It is however spacious, with an excellent shower, comfy bed and is cleaned daily.
The breakfast is plentiful, the same options each day but perfect for us. Greek yoghurt, fruit and muesli. Also breads, feta and salad (tomato and cucumber). If you want your full English, again this may not be the place for you.
It’s a 10 minute walk down the hill to an excellent beach and choice of restaurants. As a location we couldn’t fault it

Negative!

Negative! We chose it for the location for a quick overnight stay, but it is a poor copy of the photos on the website. The view is splendid, but it is dilapidated, with rust and mold. You cannot throw dirty paper in the toilet, and the bathroom has no window.
The small balconies of the rooms are connected. Really inconvenient for suitcases because it has no elevator, the climb to the rooms is steep, and the managers do not lend a hand.
There is a nice pool.

Friendly family run 3 star hotel

Lovely hotel. Family run very friendly helpful staff. Stunning view of the sea from our balcony. The pool area is good plenty of sun loungers. The only draw back for us was the steep steps to our room. The beach is within walking distance down hill.

Hermes.... perfect stay

Currently stay at this hotel. We have a family sea view room, wow what can I say... a beautiful spacious modern room. Aircon and kettle were included . House keeping have been amazing keeping our room clean and tidy everyday. Reception staff have been so kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend this hotel for a base in kefalos. We haven't used the pool area as yet as we are off out on adventures. Well done Hermes, we are loving our stay with you.

Very poor

Don’t stay here!
It is the worst hotel experience we’ve had from the beginning. When arrived we was told that we got to pay for air conditioning which we wasn’t told when booking the holiday which we wasn’t happy about we spent 2 nights on balcony as there was no controls for air conditioning. The location was an issue as the hotel is far away for everything . The room was disgusting with 5 lizards coming out of bedding ants on sheets last client hair under bed and in bathroom toilet not cleaned dirt round cup in bathroom extractor fan in bathroom was in poor condition showing electrical wires. Breakfast was very limited and had flies round food .Had to carry own suitcase up slope or steps to get to rooms as it was up the hill . The staff was very rude apart from the nighttime barman who was polite . We will definitely not be returning to this hotel
