Hidden treasure

Maria Studios saved us after our original booking was cancelled the night before we travelled. The location was great, a quiet and beautiful garden just five minutes up steps from the ferry and 5/10 minutes mainly shady walk into the centre of Patitiri. The rocky bathing/snorkelling spot was an added bonus. The rooms are spotless, cleaned daily with super comfortable beds snd a modern powerful shower room. We enjoyed breakfast on our terrace and comfortable sofas on the separate sun terrace which gives open views over the sea. With quiet background music from the nearest bar this was a good spot for pre/post dinner drinks. Secure parking was helpful too. The welcome and friendly contact with Eva and Maria was so helpful, we would definitely recommend Maria Studios.

Inappropriate behavior

The elderly lady who has the rooms, forbids the tenants of other accommodation to make a reversal with the car in her large parking lot, (notice that the very narrow road that passes in front of the accommodation is too narrow and also impasse!!!), resulting in tensions in the most unhappy way. Kindness and understanding is a qualification in tourism professionals something that this particular lady lacks.

Amazing

Had the most amazing time here. Room was lovely, very clean and bed’s comfortable. Host were very pleasant and helpful. Location amazing. We have already booked to come back next year. Thank you for a very pleasant stay . Gary and Catherine X

Affordable accommodation

Very affordable accommodation. Quiet and good location above the harbour. very clean, I think we got clean sheets every day. The shower was fantastic, lots of water and hot, however the showers were quite small. Should I return to the island, I can definitely imagine staying here again.

Lovely stay!

Had a lovely time at Maria Studios and can't recommend it enough! The rooms were cleaned every single day to such a high standard and the kitchen was a very useful addition... enough to make the odd pasta dish if you don't fancy spending money eating out. Location was much better than I expected ... right next to a little spot where you can go snorkelling and sunbathe on the rocks. It was like having a private beach to ourselves! The view is extraordinary but the photos already reflect that. Under 10 minutes to walk into Patitiri and it's a very beautiful, reasonably shaded walk. Maria and Eva were absolutely delightful! Went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. My boyfriend and I visited during the Alonissos dance festival and their friends gave us a dance lesson which Eva recorded! Had a lovely time and would definitely go again.
