Villa Alex is... real hospitality!!!
A wonderful hotel with wonderful people! The rooms are large, careful and clean and the decoration with excellent taste. The paintings that decorate it are all wonderful and.. by the hand of Mrs. Margaritas, the head of the hotel who together with Dimitris her son have created a real oasis! The garden is a miracle and in combination with the unlimited view of the sea create the absolute vacation! The pool is clean and small adults will enjoy it to the fullest! Mrs. Margarita, Dimitri, Elefthia, Alexandre, Agapi...thank you , we had a great time!!!

A very good stay!
We were very satisfied from day one! Madame Margarita always very smiling and attentive. The apartment is large enough for a family. Very clean rooms with large kitchen space and balcony terrace!

Wonderfull vacation
Villa Alex is the best place we stay ever in Greece. Аmazing experience during our stay. The location of the villa is unique. Such a sight, especially during sunset, is rarely seen. The apartments are fully equipped, same like you are at home. The owners - I have no words to describe them - polite, sincere, human and open to your every need as a guest. Beautiful beaches nearby. The area is very quiet. Lefkada and other islands are also close.
We (me and my family) are very grateful to the owners and will be back soon for sure :)

Really Lovely Owners and Affordable
We stayed at Villa Alex for a few days as a couple. The rooms are exceptionally reasonable in price. They are probabaly due a bir of refurbishment but they are perfectly adequate and there is lots of space. Each villa is divided into three apartments, one apartment on each floor.
We booked here in particular because we wanted a washing machine (I hate taking lots of laundry home with me and having to pack lots of clothes) but on arrival there was no washing machine in our apartment. However there was a machine in another empty apartment so we were able to use that instead and the owners even kindly provided us with detergent.
The kitchen area is very small, as is common in Greece, so I would say you cannot really cook a meal here. There are no restaurants or shops nearby, so you will need to drive to go and eat or get your shopping. The location is perfect if you like beaches as there is a beautiful beach literally across the road. However if you want a choice of places to eat or to buy provisions there is a drive of around 15 minutes as there is nowhere within walking distance. I think it would be great if there was a bar here or you could order food here, if this was offered we would definitely have paid to have dinner and drinks at the villas.
The owners are on site and they are such lovely people. They really can't do enough for you and when you arrive they give you coffee and water and fruits from their own garden, which are the best fruits you will have tasted. Dimitris's mother makes her own preserved fruit and it is just incredible, she is so talented, and I think she should sell her preserves as we would have loved to take some home. If she cooked an evening meal I would gladly have paid to eat it because she is a very talented cook indeed. Dimitris's wife will cook you English breakfast if you like it, this is 5 Euros and well worth it as she does a great job and the breakfast is delicious. In the end though I had the Greek breakfast (5 Euros) which is a huge stuffed omelette with thick fresh bread and yogurt and fruits. Breakfast time is completely flexible too. The food at Villa Alex was much nicer than the food I tasted anywhere in the restaurants I visited, which is why I think the owners could make money doing their own food because it is better than any restaurant we visited!
Dimitris is a lovely chap and we really enjoyed sitting and chatting with him. He is not at all intrusive but if you like to sit and natter as I do, he is very interesting and intelligent and also extremely funny and good company. He will give you plenty of information about where things are and what to visit. His little boy is such a cutie too and looks just like him!
Only things to note really was there was no water in the swimming pool (I think there is only water in the pool in July and August), one bedroom had no air conditioning (OK in May but probably stifling in warmer weather) and also no room cleaning unless you specifically ask for it. We did not realise you can have room cleaning and servicing if you ask, but by then we were going home anyway so there was no need. Just remember if you would like your room serviced to ask and it will be done and maybe before you go check whether every bedroom has air conditioning and also whether the pool is open if this is important to you.
The setting of these villas is very nice and if there were a bar on site I would be quite happy to buy drinks and sit here in the evening watching the sun go down.
Overall this was excellent value for money and the nicest owners you could meet, only thing I would change is to have a small bar and food here so I did not have to leave! Thank you Dimitris and family for looking after us during our stay.

Thank you Jane for your choice yet i need to clarify some points there.The pool actually is seasonal as advertised and open to the public from June untill September.This is because we choose to change the water every year because we want to provide our customers ,mailnly families with small children ,the best quality water in the pool with less chemicals and this is actually a major advantage we dont publicly advertise out of discretion to our rivals though our returning customers get anectode picture proof every year on villa alex facebook fanpage.Villa Alex has 5 full floor apartments of 80,00m2 each with extra 30,00m2 balconies with panorama view to the ionion islands.Regarding the aircondition i would like to mention that all our apartemnts are full floor apartments with 360 degress door and windows access and because of the field's amphitheatrical position , you get a fress air breeze coming from the natural preserved pine woods behind villa alex.Actually this is the reason every apartment has so many windows and the primary reason we chose this place for our buisness.If natural cool air is not enough, every apartment has one 24,000btu air condition and a 9,000btu in one of the rooms with a total of 33,000btu for 80,00m2 while the average method is only 9,000btu per rental property."In Villa Alex,even polar bears can enjoy the hottest summer vacations in Greece,cosidering you do have a polar bear pet! ".This is our strategic moto of our buissness and this is a fact.Regarding the room service, villa alex comply with the apartment hotels rules which wants us to provide room service every 3 nights or twice per weeks plus the extensive cleaning room service on each change.Ofcourse in case of an emergency we are are here to take care of all that is needed yet if you need every day room service and fresh linens and towels we can provide the service at an extra cost.Remember villa alex available properties are 80,00m2 apartments with extra 30,00m2 balnconies.Regarding washing machines , villa alex offers free washing machines as advertised.Specificaly the top floor apartment and the base floor apartments of the blueish villa has private washing machines for exclusive use for both of these two apartments while the other 3 shares one public washing machine found in the public areas of the blueish villa.These are all minor details that should not bother your every day plans at all.Villa Alex is about creating memories of the forever world and we will prepare breakfast if needed for you to relax totaly and not for a profit.We even offer coffees and sweets for free but free is not their price.We dont prepare food or serve drinks because there are restaurants and bars just 500meters away, just 3 minutes drive.They can even prepare your dinner and eat it in your 30,00m2 balcony if you are willing to pick your food from the restaurant.Yet it is true that even though we have fully equipped kitchens , we have 35liters kitchinetes but actually we have just upgraded them to full 55liters full size kitchens for the 5-6 members families that really need big quantity of food because of the number of people.Thank you Aristides and Fotini for your pointfull advice .Refurbishment?Come one Jane, you must be pulling a leg here.Everything is atmost 5 years old to brand new.Pictures are a thousands of word and we choose not to use professional photo shooting so as to actually offer more than promised or advertised.Villa Alex is about family orientated summer vacations in Greece in hali gali rythmes.Welcome in Greece !

Very nice place, excellent choice for a family
A very peaceful villa , great view, nice beaches near the villa
Excellent service, cleaned rooms, the hosts are sincerely friendly and they helped us for everything, my children enjoyed very much staying in the pool which was very clean, the villa has a very nice garden and very spacious rooms fully equiped
