Very good family hotel with accompanying restaurant

Recently renovated hotel. Very clean rooms. Hygienic also very good. We spent two weeks there and were pampered on all fronts. Beds are good. We had a room at the front overlooking the beach. Was a bit noisy with traffic at the front but for us absolutely not disturbing. They have a private beach area with controls, sunbeds wn umbrellas. For orders of 1 consumption p.p. you can use this all day. In the accompanying restaurant an extensive range of dishes is served sie are so good that you don't really have to go anywhere else to eat.we.have therefore often eaten there. It is a family business and everyone who works there is equally friendly. The old town is within walking distance (15min). There is plenty to do in the area with various water activities practically on your doorstep We are very satisfied with it and will definitely choose to stay here again.

Bad catastrophic experience vis lastminte.com

Booked via last minute.com, a total disaster: no breakfast on site while c was included, no catering, bags of cement and plasterboard everywhere, dirty furniture in the room, garden transformed into storage room, bar absent, garbage in front of the residence

Nice city hotel right on the beach

A nice city hotel, with direct sea views. Unfortunately through the street very loud. In the evening it is unfortunately not possible to sit in peace on the balcony.
Top housekeeping. Large rooms with enough storage space and closets, bathroom typically Cretan small. But everything is clean.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the basement. A nice Greek breakfast. The best thing is the fresh orange juice every morning.
Unfortunately, there is no parking at the hotel. We had to search for a parking space for about 20 minutes a day...

Basic hotel facing the sea

Basic hotel with rather large rooms, mini kitchenette and bathroom (small and without window).
The renovated entrance with automatic sliding door would bode well, but there are many things dated and improvable starting with bathrooms, doors etc. Positive note the good breakfast served in the restaurant below. Negative note the position of the air conditioner exchanger inside the balcony walls: if you do not want to be hit by a jet of hot air you must turn off the air conditioner if you want to use the balcony. Finally, it does not have parking spaces and here it is very difficult to find one. The police hand out parking tickets 7 days/7 so good luck and lots of patience.

Birais Sun-beds, parasols and food beach service.

Excellent staff at the Birais beach service bringing food, much needed shade with parasols, delicious food and drinks to us on the beach. The cookie icecream was a hit with the kids! They were lovely, hospitable, charming and very efficient, despite undoubtedly being hot under the July sun! Very grateful and appreciative. The staff were all great, and a big thank you to our server over several days, and happy birthday to him again for yesterday!
