Excellent hotel
We loved our stay at the hotel staff where amazing couldn't do enough for you very helpful and informative, hotel was clean and spotless throughout, views over the see excellent food was wonderful, thank you all at the atrium.

Could be so much better
We have just spent a week at this hotel on the beautiful island of Skiathos. We chose it based on a recommendation from a friend, having not visited the island for many years.
The hotel makes a good first impression, and some areas are genuinely beautiful. However, we felt there was a considerable amount of wasted space around the property, with certain sections appearing underused or somewhat neglected.
The rooms were generally comfortable, very clean, and well maintained. One thing prospective guests should be aware of is the open-plan room layout, with very little separation between the bedroom, bathroom, and toilet areas. We heard several guests comment that they were not particularly keen on this arrangement.
While some members of staff were extremely helpful and friendly, service was inconsistent. Communication could sometimes be difficult, which affected the overall guest experience and made the atmosphere feel less relaxed than we had hoped.
The pool area is pleasant enough, but there are not nearly enough sunbeds for a hotel of this size. If you are not there when the area opens at 9:30am, there is a good chance you will struggle to find a place to sit for the rest of the day.
Breakfast was disappointing and did not meet our expectations for a hotel of this standard. The selection was limited, and on some mornings we found ourselves having little more than bread and jam.
The hotel is also built on a very steep site with a large number of steps, which may be challenging for some guests, particularly during periods of intense heat.
We only ate in the hotel restaurant once, largely because a severe storm kept us on-site for over a day. Unfortunately, the food was average and the service felt disorganised.
Overall, we left feeling somewhat disappointed and would probably choose a different hotel on our next visit. That said, Skiathos itself is an absolute gem. The town is charming, the locals are welcoming, and the island remains a wonderful destination. We will certainly be returning to Skiathos in the future.

A shame as staff are great
I am really sorry to say but the access to the nearby beach is very poor. You either go through a very rough gap in a hedge along a narrow hazardous path or walk down a very busy road (partially on a bend) to reach any real access to a beach.
The room whilst kept impeccably clean does not offer much privacy for using the toilet as there is no wall between the bedroom and bathroom - only, what can only be described as trellised beams. Then just a frosted glass door to an incredibly small toilet cubicle. Some may not mind this but its not our 'way'. Using the shower caused the whole bathroom and toilet floor to flood every time regardless on how you shut the frosted glass door or the power you use the shower on. There was also a further frosted window in our bathroom to a main thoroughfare for other hotel guests. This needs a curtain.
There are no curtains to the room but instead electrically operated roller shutters that take what seems like an age to open and close, so no throwing back the curtains to see the weather!
Plenty of storage available and no real noise even though we were close to a lift. The hotel has 7 levels so we needed to use two lifts or stairs to get to the pool area or restaurant for drink or breakfast.
We were only B & B and was disappointed with the breakfast selections as many items were not labelled as to what they were. I am referring to the Greek options which would be handy to know before you put it on your plate only to find you didnt like it due to what was contained within. I am afraid that staying for an evening meal was not an option as the menu was limited and way over priced so we took our lives in our hands and tackled the busy road each night :-)

If you have shared this information with our reception during your arrival, we would have tried to allocate you in a different room as not all our rooms have open plan concept. We also regret any inconvenience caused by the shower area and have shared your comments with our maintenance team for further review, since we were not aware of this earlier.
Regarding beach access, while the hotel does not have direct beachfront access, we are keeping up the path clean and safe, but we do not recommend it to elder people or families with babies. As for the main road, we have had many contacts with the Municipality about it, and they have promised that they will fix a footpath across the road the soonest possible.
We are also sorry that our breakfast selection and restaurant offering did not fully meet your expectations, even though all our recipes are homemade cooked a la minute for highest satisfaction. We continuously review guest feedback and will certainly take your comments regarding food labelling into consideration, as we agree that clearer descriptions can enhance the dining experience for our international guests. Atrium lovely hotel with great views.
Lovely hotel with views 2nd time as married couple great location would recommend,new bus stop 16a makes it great for town and rest of island.

Wonderful location and superb staff
The hotel is beautifully designed and furnished with stunning flowers and wonderful views. At this mature stage in our lives, my wife and I have been fortunate to stay in many excellent hotels in Europe and never have we been looked after by such marvellous staff. Without exception everyone was courteous, friendly and wanted to do everything to make our stay special. They certainly succeeded.
